Showcase your creativity using the cutout illustration style to depict a story inspired by Festival, Joy, Fire, and Motherhood. Let layers, textures, and storytelling bring your vision to life.

Create a visually engaging illustration using a paper-cut or cutout style that celebrates and explores the themes of celebration, emotion, warmth, and maternal essence.

Examples (not to be used)


Deliverables

1. Main Illustration
A complete cutout-style artwork based on the theme.
Must include depth, layering, and storytelling.
Format: High-resolution PNG (transparent background optional) or JPG.

2. Character or Element Cutouts (Minimum 3)
Three or more individual illustrated elements or characters from the main artwork.
Format: PNG with transparent backgrounds.

3. Concept & Storyboard
100–200 words explaining your concept and idea.
Rough sketch or mini-storyboard of your creative process (optional).

4. Presentation PDF
A clean layout displaying:

  • Final Illustration
  • Individual elements
  • Concept/story
    Format: Single PDF

Judging Criteria

  • Creativity and originality
  • Visual storytelling and clarity of concept
  • Use of cutout style, depth, and layering
  • Composition and design quality
  • Execution and overall presentation

Submission Format

Dimensions: 1080 × 1080 px or 1080 × 1350 px
Accepted file types: PNG, JPG, PSD, AI

Do’s and Don’ts

Do’s

  • Be original—create your own unique concept
  • Focus on storytelling through visuals

Don’ts

  • Don’t copy or trace from other artworks or sources
  • Don’t flatten layers in PSD/AI if depth is important
  • Don’t ignore the theme or required deliverables
  • Don’t miss the submission deadline
