Description
A Comic Art Page is a visual storytelling medium where artists create sequential illustrations to depict a scene or story. It combines dynamic panel layouts, expressive characters, and text elements like dialogue bubbles and captions. Comic pages can be in various styles, from manga and superhero comics to indie and experimental storytelling.
Rules
- Theme & Story – The comic must follow the given theme i.e. Romances, Adventure stories, Detective stories, Historical , ensuring clear storytelling through visuals and text.
- Page Limit – Typically, a single-page Front & Back limit will be specified.
- Panel Layout – A4 paper is essential for the comic art page, Artists may use any panel arrangement but must maintain a logical flow of the story.
- Medium – Traditional (pencil, ink and markers).
- Originality – The work must be entirely original, with no copying or use of existing characters.
- Text & Dialogue – Speech bubbles, captions, and sound effects should be clear and complement the visuals.
- No Explicit Content – Offensive, violent, or inappropriate material is prohibited in this competition guidelines.
- Submission Guidelines – time limit will be 5.5 hours, Entries must be submitted of your artwork you created.
- Judging Criteria – Entries will be judged on creativity, composition, character design, storytelling, and overall artistic execution.
