Gaming Montage (Individual Entry).



COMPETITION OVERVIEW

Participants are tasked with creating a gaming montage video that showcases a compilation of impressive gaming moments. These could include:

  • High-level gameplay (e.g., kills, headshots, combos, or strategies)
  • Fast-paced editing with effects, music synchronization, and highlights
  • Creative video editing that enhances the overall gaming experience
  • The goal is to entertain and amaze the viewer with editing skills, gaming moments, and creative presentation.

SOFTWARE & TOOLS ALLOWED

  • Participants can use any video editing software, such as:
    • Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Sony Vegas, HitFilm Express, CapCut, iMovie, Kinemaster, etc.
  • In-game footage must be captured using legitimate means (i.e., no cheating or hacks).
  • Use of AI tools for video enhancement or sound design is allowed, but the core montage must rely on original gameplay footage.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

  • Duration: Between 30 seconds and 3 minutes.
  • Resolution: Minimum 720p, 1080p preferred.
  • Format: MP4 preferred.
  • Aspect Ratio: Landscape (16:9) or Vertical (9:16), depending on your creative choice.
  • Audio: Must include royalty-free music or original sound. No copyrighted music without permission.
  • No watermarks from video editing software (unless a personal brand/logo is included as part of your submission).

CONTENT GUIDELINES

  • Originality: All gameplay footage and editing must be original, meaning it was captured by the participant. No third-party content without proper licensing.
  • Editing Style: Editing should demonstrate technical proficiency (e.g., smooth transitions, sound syncing, effects).
  • Prohibited Content:
    • No hate speech, violence, or explicit material.
    • No cheating software or modded gameplay footage.
    • Do not use unlicensed music. Only royalty-free or self-created music may be used.
  • Gameplay Content: Can include moments from any game, including multiplayer, single-player, esports events, or custom modes. It must be clear that it’s in-game footage (not CGI or animation unless a gameplay-focused game).
